I was passing through the state this past weekend, and a friend and I stopped in Keene, just to check it out. We were VERY impressed. Being from Upstate NY, we weren’t used to EVERYONE being nice, no matter what. I loved it. Then I stopped at this Prime Roast place. I’ve been reading and studying about coffee for the past few months, kind of a lustful hobby I stumbled myself into, so much that everyone around me thinks I’m nuts, and I believe that I’m just misunderstood. Around where I live, the closest thing to fresh roasted coffee is at the grocery store, and I have to hunt for dates on the bags to the point that people, again, look strangely at me. So when I discovered your place, I felt that I hit the jackpot! I have always been looking for many single-origin coffees yet have never found any. Then I was told that you roast them right there. This, my friend, is obviously the most optimal condition, one that I feel would accessorize Heaven itself. I do wonder if the young man behind the counter thought I was a bit crazy, as I had him bag me up about four pounds of different types, all while I did everything I could to stop from jumping up and down with joy like a child! I’ve never had actual Yemen coffee, and it just happened to be freshly brewed, so I grabbed a cup. Your establishment is one of kind. Your employees were very nice (like everyone else in Keene), and someday I hope to return there for yet another crazed-eye moment while one bags much fresh roasted coffee for me. I am grateful.
